Data Accessed
The applications access Google User data, Apple user data, or AWS Cognito user data for proper functioning in the application so that users can subscribe, and purchase access to view books and audio books.
The application is configured to access Email, profile, and openid. This gives the application access to a user ID, email address, name, and the profile image, which is not used.
Data Usage
Upon first login, the application stores the user profile and email address in the database. This profile expands over time to store purchases, subscriptions, languages, and themes.
The user ID is used throughout the application to maintain stability and provide a good user experience. Email addresses are used to send user notifications.
Data Sharing
Trisummit Technologies LLC does not share user data with anyone else and has no intention of ever sharing user data. Collected data is used solely for application functionality.
Data Storage and Protection
Data is stored in a Google Managed Service. Only accounts with the proper security key can access the data. Administrators may access data through the Google Cloud Console.
The managed service is backed up by Google. Strict security measures protect the database from unauthorized access. Periodic cyber-scans are conducted to detect potential vulnerabilities.
The applications use a short-lived JWT Token which is refreshed as needed. Logins are valid for up to 7 days, and all REST calls are protected using this token.
Data Retention & Deletion
Data of unused accounts will be deleted after one year of inactivity and non-payment.
